Selection and Race Preparation
Thursday, 17 April 2008
Five weeks have passed since final selection trials in pairs and the crews for the first World Cup have still not been finalised and selected. This is no bad thing. Although it was frustrating for a short time in March, everyone is still pushing their personal performance and the squad is moving forward. I am still looking forward to selection; after all, everyone wants to get into their boats and get going with their own projects, but we are still doing great training from day to day and we’re not wasting any time. It looks like the Camelot coxless four is still going to be the lead men’s sweep boat, but the details are still to be finalised.
