This is just a very quick note to say that the weather has been like a perfect british May for the last week. Training has been a lot of fun and so have the two trips to see a bit of the countryside in New Zealand. It was nice to get out of the hotel. Today is the opening ceremony and a strong tail wind has picked up making the course unrowable for practice.
Our heat is at 11:47 on Sunday morning (23:47 on Saturday night UK time). We're racing Germany, France, Spain and South Africa. We're ready to go now, whatever the wind is doing. Thanks for all the good luck messages. It's going to be a good championships
