On Sunday (27th Sept) I will be taking part in the Palace to Palace bike ride for the Prince’s Trust.
For the 4th year, about 3000 cyclists will take part in the 45-mile ride, which follows a beautiful route between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, in order to raise money for a whole host of projects supporting disadvantaged young people in the UK. I have worked with the Prince's Trust before on their Change the Record campaign and know the good work they do and the difference they make. Our team, Sports United, is made up of volunteers at the Prince’s Trust and various sportspeople – should be the perfect way to kick off the 2010 rowing season which starts the following day.
