The heats are over which marks the first step of our Karapiro campaign. There don't seem to be any shocks in our event - we don't want to give anything away, so I'll just stay quiet about the race.
The GB team have performed really well over all today. Special mention to the W4x who started the day off on the right side of a really close ding-dong with the Germans. W2x - impressive! M4- relaxed and easy. M2x cool. M1x looked easy. W2-, great stuff. I'm really proud to be wearing our Adidas team kit! Tom Aggar looked indestructible, cruising to a new world record, the LM2x is right up there. I'm no sports pundit, but I think we're off to a strong start. More to come from the big boats tomorrow - everyone likes to see the 8s hammer down the course. |
