Getting back on track
Ok ok, maybe a misleading title here - it should say 'getting my website back on track' or ‘Im going to start blogging again much more regularly’ or something.

In all honesty, a winter season has never gone by so quickly! I can’t believe where the days, weeks and months have gone. It feels so recently that Andy and I unveiled the OMEGA London 2012 countdown clock with 500 days ago and today it’s already 463… and counting.

Let’s bullet point the winter so I feel up to speed:
-    Motivated after yet another silver.
-    Excitement amongst the team – the Olympics is real and very close now!
-    Very fit and excited about training.
-    Got some great winter gear from Adidas to keep the cold at bay.
-    Started Tweeting (more of that later). @PeteReed2012
-    Loved the training camps so far
-    Very lucky with the weather; apart from when the lake was frozen for about 5 weeks.
-    Won all the trials. Very pleased.

So, twitter – yeah, about time too and I seem rather addicted to it. I’ve also learned that a lot of people are keen to know what’s going on and, where I’d like to reply to everyone, it might be better to just blog about the various topics. 140 characters often doesn’t cut it anyway (sometimes though, it’s a blessing). I’ll use the two appropriately and think it might kindle a love for blogging too.

Interestingly, or not, I never used to enjoy blogging – I’m the sort of guy who likes to do it rather than talk about it. But tweeters seem just as interested in life around rowing rather than about internal results (which I can’t blog about). Good stuff.

Let’s hope this new strategy works out. Oh and, check out my new winter photos.
