 I raced with David Livingston in the 2004 Oxford Blue Boat and subsequently in the men’s pair at the Poznan 2004 World Cup.
He has written a book entitled Blood Over Water with his brother James charting their experiences and sibling rivalry in the run up to the 2003 Oxford Cambridge Boat Race.
The 2003 Boat Race was the closest race in history (Oxford won by one foot), Oxford overturned the biggest weight disadvantage in the history of the race and it was the first time in over a hundred years that brothers had raced one another. Blood Over Water was published on March 16th by Bloomsbury Publishing and can be ordered from Bloomsbury, Amazon or found in any good bookshop. It’s very good!
