| After the funding to be made available to the GB Olympic sports was announced on 3rd December, I was interested to read the reaction of the Aussie sports minister and the counter-reaction in the Sydney Morning Herald. The concluding paragraph was particularly funny: "And don't worry about the Brits. Remember, as Brits, what they do best in sport is to be noble in surprising defeat." |
