We’re getting close to the finals now. Even more so for some of the other boats in our team who race their finals tomorrow and Friday. The atmosphere in the team has already changed to reflect the most exciting part of the season.
As the crews prepare for their goals, I’m enjoying the calm before the storm. Andy and I were soaking in the fresh air and exciting atmosphere after our training this morning. Getting out of the hotel room to relax, clear your head and watch some other rowing is great preparation and really helps me to focus. We saw a lot of friends on the bank of the lake and met a few supporters who have come over to cheer on the British.
Feeling very relaxed.
