After some good and important racing at trials, we have come home to 2 more weeks of selection testing.
Jürgen seems to be collecting endless data on the athletes while he makes up his mind about boats and crews for the Olympics. Lots of people are asking me about which boat is going to be prioritised and who is going to be in it, but it is impossible for me to tell, as I have no idea what he is planning. The coach keeps his cards very close to his chest and no one knows what he is thinking. Even though it is really tough to be tested time after time, I take a lot of confidence in the fact that he hasn’t got it wrong for the Olympics in his long coaching career and I’m right where I need to be. |
